The recent news about a central government prostrating in front of Medha Patkar by initially giving an order to stop raising height of Narmada dam is not just objectionable but a severe slap in the face of lakhs of people in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh. It seems like politics is being played as none of the 3 states which benefit due to Narmada dam are part of the Congress regime. In addition, I am a big fan of Aamir Khan films but once he decided to side with Medha Patkar, he has lost my support for any of his films however important they might be or whatever good message it might contain. I am sure Amdavadis will not allow his films to be screened either and for good reason. The problem is that by supporting Medha and Arundhati (2 of the most useless citizens of India who care more about them then about lakhs of people who benefit by this dam), he has ignored the wishes of lakhs of people who suffer due to unavailability of water, electricity etc which is going to be a r...
